Responsible gambling

If gambling is hurting you, or someone you care about, call the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655. It is free, confidential, and open day and night. You do not need an account on this website, and you do not need to tell us anything.

You can also use the website gamblinghelpline.co.nz. The helpline is part of the support around Safer Gambling Aotearoa. Counsellors can talk, and they can point you to face-to-face help where it exists. Asking is free.

Signs it has stopped being a pastime

  • You are chasing money you already lost.
  • You are hiding the cashier, the app, or the time from people you live with.
  • Rent, food, or debt payments are losing to deposits.
  • You feel sick or angry when you try to stop, and then you log back in.
  • Someone else is worried, and your first reaction is to conceal the account.

Any one of those is a reason to call. You do not need to wait until all of them are true. Family and friends can call the same numbers. The helpline is for them as well.

Tools that belong on the casino, not here

Deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs, and self-exclusion are set inside the account, after you are logged in on that brand’s site. This desk cannot apply a limit to Ripper, AceLucky, BetNeptune, LekkerBets, or AfricaSports. We do not hold the account. If you want a cool-off, use the safer-gambling tools on the site you play, and ask the helpline to talk you through it.

Closing the browser is not the same as self-exclusion. A home-screen shortcut, a saved password, and a card stored in the cashier will still be there tomorrow. Remove the saved login from the phone if the account is the problem. The steps for where that login lives are on the mobile page, if you need to find it in order to shut it down.

Age

You must be 18 or over to use the brands linked from this guide. If you are under 18, do not open an account, do not ask someone older to open one for you, and do not send this site or a casino a copy of an ID. The youth line is 0800 654 659.

What this market does and does not protect

New Zealand is introducing licensed online casinos under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026. Licensing is phased, with the system expected to be fully in force through 2027. A brand that is not on the Department of Internal Affairs register is not a New Zealand-licensed online casino, whatever a homepage says about “safe and secure”. Ripper’s public pages, when we read them, did not show a New Zealand licence number.

That legal picture does not change the helpline. Harm support is for you whether the site is licensed here, licensed overseas, or unclear. Money you cannot afford is still money you cannot afford.

For this desk specifically

We do not run games. We do not take deposits. Links under /go/ are commercial: we may be paid if you register. If that bothers you on a day when you are trying to stop, do not click them. Use the phone numbers above instead. There is no prize for visiting the casino from this page.

If you want the login steps anyway, they are on the Ripper Casino login guide. Take the helpline number with you.
